Dr Victor Zammit Comments on Dr Alan Gauld's Comments

In a 1992 documentary, In Search of the Dead II: Visions and Voices, Dr Alan Gauld talks about how materialisation mediums used to use cheesecloth, but nowadays use net curtains as fake ectoplasm.

Victor Zammit has commented on this in today's Friday Afterlife Report:

'S.P.R. INVESTIGATOR' INSULTS - HE IS AGAINST MATERIALIZATIONS AND PHYSICAL MEDIUMSHIP:

I watched a youtube video this week where Alan Gauld Ph.D, a former President (1989-92) of the English Society for Psychical Research (SPR) totally rubbished materializations and physical mediumship - insulting a number of highly gifted mediums and many thousands of others who experienced reunions through materialization. I was just stunned at the colossal ignorance and negative prejudice of this psychologist making a fool of himself. He used the old claim that ectoplasm is just 'cheesecloth' or in more recent times'nylon net curtaining'.

(...)

How absolutely disgusting -using his position as the President of the SPR to denigrate physical mediumship! How incompetent and deeply negatively prejudiced. Wendy and I - as professional afterlife investigators - and many, thousands of others, have witnessed ectoplasm being emitted by David Thompson in red light many times these last nine years! We witnessed some TWO HUNDRED materializations and over ONE HUNDRED REUNIONS in eight years!

All the Religious Killing is Over Nothing Whatsoever - E-mail to Matthew Syed of The Times

To Matthew Syed of The Times:

What you said about the Muslim religion in today’s Times is very brave. I thought that any criticism of Islam carried the death penalty. It was the same in England just over two hundred years ago when Thomas Paine was wanted dead or alive for telling the truth about the Christian hoax. I also understand that being an atheist in England carried the death penalty right up to Victorian times.

It will be impossible for the priests and their victims to deceive people for much longer, thanks to the Internet. These pedlars of supernatural fiction can only get away with brainwashing the young trusting minds that are in their care only if the children never find out where the whole supernatural shooting-match was invented – The Council of Nicaea in 325 of the Christian era. This can now be found at the click of a mouse.

At the age of thirteen my son asked his divinity teacher, “How does the Council of Nicaea in 325 of the Christian era fit in with all this Sir?” Needless to say his teacher was horrified. All the money flowing into the coffers of the Christian Church depends on ordinary Joe Public never finding out about the infamous Council of Nicaea.

Religious Hatred in Europe - E-mail to The Western Daily Press

Paddy Ashdown has it spot on when he was interviewed on television. He likened the terrible religious hatred in the Middle East, Sunni and Shia Muslims killing each other, to the thirty year religious war in Europe (1618-1648). All those who have a computer can check this out.

Roman Catholics and so-called Protestants killing each other. All fighting over something invented by priests in the dark age of ignorance. The big difference is that the European religious fanatics did not have access to nuclear weapons, they do in the Middle East.

Religious indoctrination in our schools must now come to an end. All children must be given access to the intellectual criticism of religious doctrines and dogmas that have been gathered by Thomas Paine in 1794 ‘The Age of Reason’ right through to Professor Richard Dawkins of Oxford University, ‘The God Delusion’.

Thomas Paine - E-mail Published in full in the Western Daily Press

Subject: Thomas Paine documentary on BBC Television

On Saturday 9th August on BBC Television Melvyn Bragg told the exciting story of Thomas Paine (1737-1809). This great English philosopher has been described as the most valuable Englishman ever. However, hardly any English people have ever heard of him.

This is because he has had a bad press in our history books, in a country where the Church and the state are still established. Paine warned how dangerous it was to blindly believe what the priests are teaching, without checking the facts very carefully. All covered in his published masterpiece ‘The Age of Reason’ that can be read on the Internet. He starts from an excellent base: “My country is the world and my religion is to do good.”

There is no greater crime in the cosmos than to indoctrinate young trusting minds with false teachings for selfish ends. From this heinous crime stems terrible hatred. For confirmation of this statement just open a newspaper or watch the news on television.

Thomas Paine and Abdus Salam - E-mail to Ian Hislop, Editor of Private Eye

Please follow the example of Melvyn Bragg and let people know how badly they are being deceived by their leaders and teachers. At last people in England are finding out about their great philosopher, Thomas Paine.

Only your magazine had the courage to act on the letter that I received from the Director of the International Centre For Theoretical Physics, Professor Abdus Salam. He is a Nobel Laureate for physics, and the greatest scientist that the Islamic world has ever produced. He has been excommunicated!

The Crisis in the Ukraine - E-mail to The Western Daily Press

Those attacking Nigel Farage’s warnings about the EU meddling in the Ukraine have a poor grasp of history. The pro-Russian “rebels” call themselves the Orthodox Christian Army. They are horrified that the new government in Kiev is led by a Roman Catholic prime minister.

Catholic and Orthodox Christians hate each other just as much as Sunni and Shia Muslims. All this terrible hatred is completely beyond the comprehension of those of us who have managed to escape from religious indoctrination.

An Englishman Invented the Wireless - E-mail to Amy Jones of The Sun

Amy,

I am enjoying The Sun's free historic edition for 22 million homes "THIS IS OUR ENGLAND".

May I please bring your attention to the list of 'What are the greatest English inventions?'. There is a glaring omission, Sir Oliver Lodge, who was born in Stoke on Trent. He invented the wireless in 1894.

There is a plaque at the Museum Lecture Theatre at Oxford University on the very spot where Sir Oliver sent the first ever radio signal.

This brilliant scientist is not being given the credit he deserves in England where the Church and the state are still established. This is because he dared to link the study of life after death with natural and normal forces in the universe. He linked it with subatomic physics - forces that are normally out of range of our five physical senses. This culminated in the publishing of his paper 'The Mode of Future Existence' in 1933.

The Thinking Revolution has Started - E-mail to Pravda

It was Russia that hosted The Sir Isaac Newton Conference. It’s his model of the universe that is correct because he started from the right base, that the spiritual part of the universe exists. That we all possess a soul that separates from the dead physical body.

He was a Unitarian, he did not recognise the Trinity, this father, son and holy ghost business that was invented at the infamous Council of Nicaea in 325 of the Christian era.

It all went wrong when the Iron Lady, Mrs. Thatcher, rejected the Church’s first choice of Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. John Habgood. He had a First Class honours degree from Cambridge University in physics. He had just written to me saying that they are now taking what I am saying seriously. He told me that they now have a department within the Church to look into these things – He sent me the leaflet of ‘The Churches’ Fellowship for Psychical and Spiritual Studies’.

Mrs. Thatcher rejected the scientist and chose a believer instead – Canon George Carey. Another believer has just been chosen as Archbishop of Canterbury, he has recently appeared on television saying that he does not have to keep his fingers crossed when he recites the creeds.
